some updates on the fraud issue:

called the Banking Security lady, right now they are waiting for the merchant in Japan to submit the sales invoice, after which they'd review and assess. the merchant has 30 days to submit, so i asked what happens if the merchant doesn't submit/respond? then, she said, the bank will exercise a "chargeback" to the merchant for the full amount, which will take another 30 days. i expressed my desire to cancel the card, and even cleared all my outstanding payments, but due to this ongoing investigation i am not allowed to. but certainly i am not going to use this card anymore, or at least till the investigation is over. >:(
