mum is probably enjoying the coolness of autumn, and tucking into steaming hot dimsum in Hong Kong right now. 超 羨ましい! while i am painfully stuck at the office and getting incredibly bored. probably half of the office is on leave/course today. bloody sian.
Otomen Ep 2 didn't show the ending of the shrine fight in Ep 1, and it kinda irked me. in fact it's getting annoying that Otomen often ends at the most random moment.
reviews of Jin sounds promising, but i think the 言葉 is beyond my level, so i'm waiting for the subbed version.
Samurai High School is damn funny! Miura was convincing as the meek, 草食ボーイ who somehow could transform into a mean, skilful samurai. oh oh and goodness his physique is looking very very good! think he must have been putting alot of effort in the gym.
Tokyo Dogs was incredibly hilarious, i think Oguri Shun has the knack for being a 冷面笑将 lol. unfortunately i found Mizushima Hiro's portrayal abit OTT, but i'm guessing that's because his character is one hell of OTT-ness.
Rikon Bengoshi is killing me without subs. all those law jargon and kanji is like wtf-worthy. feels like preparing for exams - i'd rewind, replay, jot down, search on my DS/internet, rewind, replay, and then go wtf.
anyway, holidays. am giving much thought to skipping Motherland next spring, and go explore Seoul instead. of course this largely depends if laogong-sama(s) have anything up during that period, but i seriously fear burnout if i watch them again within such a short span of time. furthermore korean won is comparable to SGD now, and shopping's quite decent from what i gathered. and stuff like Skin Food and The Face Shop are like, one-third of our local price there. quoting mum's words; "don't condemn them yet, go at least once. then condemn them." XD
