it's been a long time since i had steamboat, and thanks to Weeming's invitation, i finally had my fill of luncheon meat and sliced pork! :D
right when we just started attacking hahaha. place was at somewhere near Sunshine Plaza, and was surprisingly reasonable-priced and very delicious! the tom yam base was spicy enough to give me heartburn, and the servings of sliced pork was plentiful, nicely-marbled with fats and FRESH. there is nothing better in this world than FRESH pork. it's buffet-style, and the variety is quite plentiful. i love steamboat!
then we had dessert at Shokudo, hee! i ordered blueberry cheesecake, and it was sooooooooo delicious! :D
the texture is unlike normal cheesecake, more like tofu cheesecake? the server said that they used yoghurt to make them, so the texture's really smooth and "springy". best of all, it's not as fattening as normal cheesecake hahaha. so i can have my cake and eat it!
oh, and some updates on the card-fraud case. right now the bank has accepted my dispute over the transaction, and has reversed the amount out of my account while they investigate the case. meanwhile i am going to pen an email to Bic Camera's headquarters, stating exactly what had happened, and my utter distrust in them for my subsequent trips.
