Oh, homework
I am so bad at getting homework done on the weekend... I have a bunch more to do for Chaucer tomorrow before the class (during my shift and from apprx. 2-3:45 is my available time). I can get it done then, easily, but once in a while I realize that my plan of doing my homework for thursday morning during my student life shift, at least for this week, has been rudely interrupted. My plans never work out. Ah. Well, as long as I make sure I've done two of the readings for Anthro of Art by Thursday, so I'll be half done a whole day before class! That will be exciting. We'll see how it works out.
I want to explain about my new icon (you like? You'd better!). I just stole it from DM, who decided to use it as his facebook profile picture recently (haha, I'm in his facebook profile picture and he isn't! That's funny). I've been bugging him about this picture since he took it, because I wanted it as an lj icon, and hey, now I have it! Anyway, I believe I just randomly decided to hold my cell phone to Syphilis's ear (the seal, for those of you who don't know), and DM took a picture of it (um... digital camera, I think?). He managed to exclude my hand almost entirely (if you look really closely you can see the tip of my finger) so it actually looks like Syphilis is on the phone. And my face isn't in the picture either, which I prefer. Nothing should distract from the cuteness of Syphilis. So, I'm sure you all found that story very pointless but I love it. And so... nothing.
In other news, the only person I've seen on a regular basis since getting back is Sonia. This must be rectified. (And I normally won't use words that begin with "rect" in a serious way, but...)
I want to hang out with Jenika. And Natalie. And other people.
