[Kyon turns back to the camera and gives it an appraising look.]
Anyway, I’d like to know if anyone out there has met someone by the name of Haruhi Suzumiya. You really can’t miss her. She has brown hair, she's grumpy, and obnoxious. Ah, also, please tell me if you’ve run across people named Mikuru Asahina, Yuki Nagato, and Itsuki Koizumi.
[Just as he reaches to turn it off, Kyon’s gear is taken from his hands and the camera is obscured by the face of a Pichu.] Oh, that’s right. This is my starter. I don’t know what to call her yet, but I’ll think of a name eventually. I’m open to suggestions.
[His hand reaches for the gear, but he gets shocked by the Pichu and he withdraws his hand and sighs.]
