So years ago I was staring at myself in the mirror while brushing my teeth and marveling at how my reflection was left-handed. I thought about this for a bit, wondering if I could make it appear right-handed, by way of using my left hand to actually brush my teeth like I've seen my reflection do for well, forever. It was challenging at first but kind of a fun mental exercise. After that it became habit.
I've noticed, especially as of about a year ago when I went to get a massage for my birthday, that my right shoulder is smaller than my left. I've known that my bicep/tricep measurement has been a full half inch smaller in diameter since my brother's wedding.
While staring at my reflection again sometime this week or so, I realized how much that particular set of shoulder muscles gets used when brushing my teeth. I have decided to try brushing my teeth with my right hand again. It is strange. But I'm just doing it in the morning.
Perhaps by brushing my teeh with my right hand in the morning and with my left hand at night, it might help to balance out my shoulders? We shall see.
In other news, tonight while doing my load of whites I finally finished reading
The Third Jesus: The Christ We Cannot Ignore by Deepak Chopra. I really enjoyed it, and would also enjoy sharing it. It would be nice finding other people who are also interested in these types of readings I enjoy instead, of the usual suspicious, polite-yet-reserved responses I get when I try offering. Thanks go to my mom for having given me the book.
Tomorrow I aim to wake up significantly in the AM in order to finally revise my résumé, hard-boil some more eggs, and even *gasp* run again, before I have work from 1-9PM.
I also have become more conscious about actively trying to walk around barefoot more, as it's good for me. I even went barefoot outside of the apartment down to the basement to do my wash tonight. It was interesting, as I was more aware of being able to actually feel the textures and temperatures via my feet. I remember as a kid I often used to walk around barefoot outside when we lived in AZ.
Time to shower. Hope you are all doing well. G'night.
