Busy last few days
So this past weekend was pretty chill. Had my first job interview with Ubisoft in SF on friday. Came out feeling i could have done better and been more prepared, but "oh well" amirite? Poker night at Matt's, hadnt had one of those in a while, twas fun.
Saturday, went to see Harry Potter. It was good as Harry Potter movies go :shrug: Probably should read the books one day.
Sunday, we got a kittah! He's about 4 months old and runs like a maniac all over the apartment. RJ named him Buster and he's been a whole lot of fun to play around with.
Monday! Got a call in the morning about a job interview with Microsoft which apparently the recruiter failed to confirm with me about. So i had about an hour to get dressed, prepared, and drive over to. Surprisingly, with the limited time frame to get ready, i actually came out feeling pretty good about it. And lo and behold a few hours later, they call me back asking me to come work for them.
Took me a while to come to a decision but i chose to accept it over the Ubisoft position. (But damnit, it's just too bad Ubisoft is in SF, i wanted to work there so bad =\ ) Yes, that's right: Calvin gots a jorb @ Microsoft! Though it's just a 1 year contract position, I figure if i dont like it in a year, i can always find something more suitable. So a huge sigh of relief on my end.
