Question for the group (if anyone is still reading)
Are younger guys starting to have bigger penises these days?
In the past, practically everyone was "average" and there was a full range of sizes. Even porn stars (with the exception of the occasional huge "freak" that got cast because of his penis, not his face or body....especially in straight porn) were in the average range (including the lower end), and there were a lot of bottoms with hot bodies that actually had small penises. Today, though, even with the vast variety of models offered by the explosion of internet porn, porn stars all seem to be large or at least in the upper range of average. What's more, young guys straight and gay are doing bathroom mirror self-pics and posting them online by the millions, and they all seem to be above-average in size.
Certainly, those with smaller endowments are less likely to display their wares to the world at large, but based on what's on the internet these days, are there any young guys with penises shorter than seven inches?
Now, I'm 50 years old, so "average" to me is about 5 to 6.5, inches, with most being 5.5 to 6. Also, I'm from a generation when guys used to shower together in open shower rooms, unlike the 20-somethings today who seem scared to take their pants off in public in front of other men and don't shower at the gym (or if they do, it's in a private stall), so I no longer have a large pool of the younger general male population to observe. However, being gay (duh), I still get the occasional opportunity to notice things from all age groups, although my sample pool of live, in-person, naked guys is probably 75% gay. Older guys continue to be "average" and have a full range of sizes. Younger guys seem to be surprisingly bigger and the smaller sizes are uncommon. In fact, in the past ten years, I've only had the opportunity to observe up close one younger guy who had a small penis. I've seen recent pictures and videos from my nephew's fraternity's annual pre-initiation pledge activities, and every single one of those pledges was above average in length. I've also seen his huge collection of self-pics sent to him by gay guys at his college looking to hook up, and they are all....impressive.
Now, I know I'm speaking in generalities here. I don't have any scientific data. The younger generation continues to have guys with all sizes of penises. It just seems to me that there has been a vast skewing of the average to considerably bigger sizes now.
Ideas:
1) Growth hormones given to cows and chickens in the food supply are causing kids to grow bigger penises.
2) Because of internet porn and more societal acceptance of gays, younger guys masturbated a whole lot more during their teenaged years, and that led to increased size.
3) Flaccid size has increased, but erect size remains the same.
4) More guys are "showwers" than "growers" these days (possibly because of #2, above?).
5) HIV killed off all the smaller guys (but this would only explain the gay population).
6) Gay guys are bigger now, but straight guys continue to be average with a full range of sizes.
