Hmm. I wouldn't go as far as to call that homophobic. In fact from my experience, where I live, I'd call it pretty much truthful of a large majority of gay men. Alot of gay men I know in partnerships don't have the rosey monogamous committed relationship they like to to portray to the heterosexual community. I only know of 1 gay couple that is committed and monogamous, and I see a huge amount of gay couples online after sex, either individually or together. I'm not saying there aren't alot of heterosexuals who aren't committed either - I'm just saying what is portrayed and what is fact isn't so in most cases.

I personally think Gately's death has been "sugar coated" by the family and the mainstream media, not ot mention the gay media. There has been no mention of the fact Gately's partner has been previously abusive towards him (which may of led to his alcholism), no mention of the fact that they picked up another man for threesome sex from a gay club (even though the man they picked up admitted that to the police), and little mention of the fact that Gately was not only extremely drunk but high on weed.

I must say though, to say that "heterosexual marriages" are perfect is laughable. There are a hell of alot of married men our there cheating on their wives with other men, as there are wives that cheat. The person who wrote that article was extremely naive or just plain stupid insinuating that heterosexual marriages are perfect.
