That doesnt answer the question at all. Someone who says (or implies) they're altruistic to the point they don't care at all about apperances is lying to you.

Yep, you're right. It's just that he didn't say or imply anything like that. He once said he was wondering how I look but he never told me his email (I suppose he doesn't have one because he hardly knew what an ICQ is).

In regards to what you were saying about this guy's sexual experiences with men...there is always the chance that he didn't like sex with the dudes he ware with because they was doing it wrong. Some people in the world (even if they are hot) can be terrible in the sack.

It sounds like he seems to be into you, and that's good. It's a little too early for us to pass judgement on the guy now as you two just recently met in person, but hopefully the times you two share together will continue to work out. :)

As a bi male, I take offense to the fact that you think that we bring 'more to the playing field than we should', as if we have a choice in the matter.

I think the real issue here is that the OP is dealing with a 'new' bi who has only recently started dealing with the homo side of himself and has a lot of baggage - a divorce and two kids, along with whatever societal expectations he's carrying around.

It's been my experience that some bisexual men have trouble wrapping their mind around the idea of a relationship (as opposed to just sex) with another man.
