Is anyone a member of the gay sex tips LJ group? More importantly is anyone a moderator? It seems as though who ever was doing it stopped leaving the group practically dead because all posts must be approved.

I'm a member of that group and about ready to leave it. The group like so many others are dead. Something needs to be done to liven them up!

I got banned from whateverfaggot for laughing at some guy who said he got sexually assaulted. I thought that group was EDGY. It isnt! (mad face).This group is pretty good, although I've been close to banned a few times.

Having a trouble maker around occasionally keeps things lively (halo glimmers).

I've been banned a few times from groups and apparently people are just too sensitive and take the whole moderator job too seriously.

Really? I read a few of your posts and that kind of overt non-stop flirting and sexualization of every comment drives me crazy in journals run by gay people. I think a little bit of it is fun, but creepy people like ought to be banned, not encouraged.

I know and at first it bugged me if not weirded me out. But I just look past it. Not that I have to have comments on everything I write, somethings better then nothing I guess.

Oh no I know they wouldn't unfriend me if I made a comment to them about it. But in all honesty, its just the internet and I can just delete the comments if I bothered too.

Your posts seem fine, but I just wonder how a reasonably intelligent person who writes a reasonably intelligent diary post about a fish tank ends up getting 20 sexually charged comments. Dont you feel a little like objectified by internet strangers as being easy on the eyes and not much else?

i bring this up since i've had to deal with this in some ways as well

Oh valid point I understand where your coming from. It did kind of get on my nerves that I wrote something about my hobby and have the conversation go in a totally different direction.

I guess is why I do not post much about my hobby and such. People just seem to go into a different direction or flat out not say anything at all.

Which brings me to the original position I was taking about just dropping LJ all together.
