Not too long ago my computer died, and I was able to get on again only recently. Thankfully, no information was lost, but when the computer went, it didn't go alone. It took the mouse and speakers along with it. So I was a bit disappointed when I saw that the video for Paolo Nutini's "10/10" was up on YouTube and that I could see it but not hear it. (T_T) Why didn't I notice it before the computer broke? (>_<) They don't really show his videos on TV in the US. The only ones I've seen on are the US version of "Last Request" and "Candy," but his latest album has been number 1 on the UK charts. Well, at least I can think of the music in my head while I watch the video. It's like the US version of the video for "New Shoes," which was basically the first time I really got to see what he looked like...and it was a nice bonus that he was cute! XD Ugh, I feel all fangirly and like I should add a "tee-hee" there... (^^;)
You make it out of nothing,
And turn it into something,
And give it to you all for free....
Anyway, a while ago I was thinking of taking some Valentine themed doll photos to post today, but I was feeling lazy. (^^;) I even considered making some different types of steamed buns for today as well, being that it's also Chinese New Year, but I wasn't feeling very motivated, in addition to being tired. Oh well. I think I'll probably end up snapping those doll photographs some other time. Just yesterday I was thinking about which of my dolls have not had photo shoots yet.
In any case, since it is Valentine's and Lunar New Year, I thought I'd share some related photos:
Glazed Chocolate Cake with Sprinkles
(Web-exclusive recipe can be found at Gourmet.com.)
Dragon Puppets in a Manhattan Chinatown Shop
(Taken after the Chinese New Year parade last year.)
Bonus Photo: Cherry Chocolate Chippers cookies that I baked recently. :)
Have a Happy Valentine's Day, Lunar New Year, President's Day (in the US), and Carnival/Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday! :D
