Some people think they're pretty funny. Like, capslock and some intentionally mispelled words are hilarious. Is dumbing yourself down really funny? I mean, if you're really dumb or feeling incoherent at the moment, then I can totally understand. But sometimes, a proper conversation can sell, too, given timing and wit.
I read this AkuRoku fic one time--and the English made my nose bleed (because wtf, that's some fucking deep words)--but it was hilarious. OK Go is hilarious, and they're not saying bad jokes.
"I R WANT HIS PEEN0R OMFG HES TTLY TEH SEXXXX!!!1!" is not very cool.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not very funny myself. But I appreciate smart jokes. Or even dumb jokes, given that it actually makes sense and isn't funny only because someone got hit in the face, or was called a bitch.
I like references, sense, timing, personality. The way something is said can make the simplest thing sound funny. The stupidest thing said in the simplest way can triple it's hilarity. The most boring life can seem cool when shared right.
Don't get me wrong: Please, capslock is regularly hilarious. I appreciate it. Honestly, most of you are still in my flist because I find your life, and how you proclaim it, interesting. But some (like, 5 or something)? Aren't even on filter, and I'm just keeping 'em to be polite. Hard truth, friends.
But maybe I'm just a little stressed today. Absolutely nothing is happening. And that's maybe why I'm a little irky. Sorry if I'm a little hypocritical, but it's hard not to be when everyone including me is either naturally dumb, or dumbing themselves down. That ends up with everyone just being stupid.
I'm not liking people today.
And what, it's 2:30AM. I slept the whole day. And I'm not happy about that, because it means that I wasted a day, and when I tried drawing earlier today, I couldn't come up with anything.
But why am I feeling strangely in love?
*sigh* Anyway, I'm trying to download videos, but that's not working. So I'm just watching them.
