Just got back from Day 1 of the ME Prepcourse.
I'm so tired and cranky, it's really not even funny. It's probably because I didn't sleep very well last night, since they didn't make us run around or anything, but...ugh. |D;;;
If anything, I think one of my main problems in college will be the profs. I make too many side comments (about lecture styles and whatnot), and I don't care enough to lower my voice or keep it in my head. I simply don't, and never will. Some might fail me automatically. Maybe I should stop sitting so close to the front.
But that aside, yes, they sort of do intend to scare you during the prepcourse. But didn't you sign up for ME because it was hard? Despite knowing (eventually) it would have 35+ units total of pure and applied mathematics (I take back what I said about it not having enough lmfao), and that you're not allowed to get a D IN ANYTHING EVER IN YOUR LIFE except 1 but you might as well not get one at all (I am so screwed)?
The point is to adjust to all of that.
And I intend to, fgs, because I could get booted off the course as early as UHMMM August. 8| 2nd year main hurdle is Accounting (which I loved in HS so lmfao let's see how long that lasts). 3rd is EVERYTHING. But after that, I'm home free. Basically. SMEG!!
And oh! nikotein shifted to CompEng (5yrs) from CompSci (4yrs), partly because I thought ME would take 5 years. So we can be toogeydur. Turns out ME's only 4. WOOPS. I'll take up a minor fo' yous ok? ♥
Anyway, so, weird faci's (I laugh because they're so embarassing :c Martin/Wolverine was ours. I'm used to his voice now.), shy groupmates (I ended up talking most of the time, along with this guy Luis who kinda looks like Tablo--he left early though), saw some friends I made from the OrSem forum and... quiz bee. Lmfao I don't know how to think properly anymore. With the math problems I was just like, "lol uh B looks kinda right?"
They gave us work, too. D| Think of/make a prototype, advertise, mass produce and finally sell an Armguard that can defeat Mr. Stitchface (Superhero theme for the activity ok haha). Out of uh, cardboard, some paper, tape and a marker. xD Luis and I kinda had to force work on people just so they could move somehow...and ended up being the people in charge. I'm the one that contacts everyone tonight. -_-
But yeah, lol. I better get used to this.
