3. What are some of your top OTPs in fandom? What attracted you to these pairings? Do you see any parallels/common traits between your OTPs? Why do you think this is?
• Spain x Romano (Axis Powers Hetalia)
Character dynamics. History. Clueless/tsundere. Overall smush of adorable. It works all too well.
• France x England (Axis Powers Hetalia)
Revolutions, pirates, frilly clothes, big hats, tea, drunken sex, and ohonhonhon. 8)
• Siwon x Heechul (Super Junior)
Spoiled/girly!Heechul with people-pleaser/manly!Siwon = so much love.
• Zhou Mi x Kyuhyun (Super Junior)
Mi is just so happy that someone as snobby as Kyu ends up smiling and laughing a lot more than fans are used to, especially before SJ-M.
• Ignis or Gale or Gill x Molly (Waku Waku Animal Parade)
I think this is me preferring Molly over Angela, but yeah. Ignis because he actually isn't a bad husband. Gale because the poor boy needs so much love. And Gill because he's sweet when he wants to be.
Character dynamics is the number one thing that gets me into pairings.
If their personalities mix well, then it works for me.
Usually one is happy-go-lucky, and influences the other (usually, er, less happy?) for the better. Because I think that making each other better, happier people is the sweetest kind of love. ♥
