I promised I'd ramble, yeah? (+ mini picspam)
An in-depth (almost) analysis of some of my favorite Suju members/pairings and, for some, why I like them better than others. Warning: Inconsistent name forms. This is also an excuse for a small picspam, but they're all under cuts because I'm nice. :3 crap, i have way too much free time on me
Individuals a.k.a. BIAS! BIAS! BIAS! corner
Kim Heechul/Heenim/Heechul-ah/Cinderella/Rella
Anyone who knos Suju knows how hard it is to hate Heechul. Or how hard it is to completely love him either, lol. But from the very beginning, this guy's been my favorite of the 15. His personality is just so bright and cocky, and it's an amazing combination because you know he has the stuff to back up his arrogance. He's not afraid to show that fact. He's incredibly witty, too, and someone like me is very very easily impressed by things like that. xD Oh, and holy crap, have you seen his hands?
Choi Siwon/Siwonnie/Simba
rhett introduced me to Suju through a pimp post that was somewhere here on LJ. IIRC, I only knew Heechul at the time. Among the rest, Siwon got my attention the most (at first, because of the really adorably picture the poster used...I can't find it now though xD). So I got to know him more, and I really do like him as a person. He's just this huge, adorable guy, who's well-mannered to a fault. I cheer for him in practically everything (like, say, EHB), because HELL YEAH CHOI SIWON IS THE MAN and people definitely need to acknowledge that more!
Zhou Mi/Mi/Mimi
Do you guys even know how freaking adorable this man is? Well, he's too adorable, see. Which brings me to the realization that I like Mimi a lot like I do Siwon. Though he's a thousand times less muscular than Siwon, and doesn't give off the same bear-protectiveness that Siwon does, Mi really makes up for it with how bright and happy and cute he is. It's like, all he wants to do is smile. There are some things about him, too, sad things, that can't help but make you love him/his personality more.
Cho Kyuhyun/Kyuhyunnie/Q/Kui Xian/Little Thirteen
Kyuhyunnieeeee! This guy, really...he's the exact type of person (ISTP? Seems like one) that I love to see smiling. You know, the introverted types who have everything good buried deep inside them. You just want to let all that out, and see them shine. xenocia told me, before, about how she'd rather have a guy who'se a good singer than a good cook. I agreed. And I want this guy's voice (seriously, he can belt it anytime, anywhere). He's a pro gamer, too, which is cool. And he loves Math. x) /shot

Siwon/Heechul (ShiChul)
There's a reason why I prefer ShiChul over the common HanChul. I'm pretty anal about couple dynamics, see, and there's no doubt in my mind that ShiChul has it better in that aspect. I mean, Geng's and Chul-ah's personalities are nice compliments, yeah--one's quiet and the other's assertive, but Geng can be too quiet sometimes for me. Unresponsive, to a point. He just plays along with what Heechul wants because his hyung's gonna throw a bitch fit if he doesn't, and I believe that someone with Heechul's personality can't be with that kind of person too long (he'll get bored).
Now, compare this to Siwon, who also follows Heechul's diva-like orders like the good dongsaeng that he is. But I believe he gets more amusement from this. He actually wants to please his Cinderella, make him happy, keep him comfortable and close (Siwon's skinship hell yeah). And when I look at Heechul's personality, I think that, despite the brash exterior, Heechul would rather be taken care of like that.
Geng doesn't treat Heechul like a girl, but rather, like an older brother who can yell ridiculous things and smack him--someone you shouldn't provoke because it isn't worth the effort of calming him again. On the other hand, I see Siwon treating him more delicately, but isn't afraid to displease him [Heechul] in that teasing manner every so often. And it is this that makes Heechul stay (for the right reasons, that is, and not just to have another croney).
This is all besides the fact that I just find these two so incredibly romantic when together, and that Siwon would be perfect for a Prince Charming. C: (p.s. SSII pics make me incredibly happy)
Zhou Mi/Kyuhyun ( QMi)
Ohhhh, them. /swoons. Where to start? xD Well...Kyu and Mimi have this incredibly natural friendship. In SJM, you'd think quiet and reserved Kyu would stick to people he's known longest and who can share his confusion with Mandarin, but he finds haven in Mi instead. Always Kyu's personal translator, his personal teddy bear, his personal woman...they're in their own world in nearly every event SJM has. Even Kyu has started to get clingy (see QMi link).
I find this pairing better than, say, KyuMin, because of, again, couple dynamics. I'm not even sure when KyuMin ever happened besides the Mini-drama (and even then, it is weird, assuming you'll carry on from that kind of characterization. IMHO, Kyu just isn't forceful enough in my eyes to ever top anyone, and Sungminnie is too...uh, straight? Or rather, too cute, to seriously take interest in anyone like that.). ON THE OTHER HAND, I think ZM and Minnie'd make great friends 'cuz they're effeminate as hell.
Like Heechul, I think Kyu is using his brash exterior as...well, not really a defense mechanism, but I can't think of any other word, so let's say it's that. He's a tough, intelligent guy, but a magnae, which means he can't really hold his ground too much against his hyungs. So despite his 'position', he acts tough so that others will be reminded about not treating him too lightly. Enter Zhou Mi, who treats everyone equally, and especially Kyu, whom he sees as more than a dongsaeng. He makes an effort to keep Kyuhyun happy, and I think that's something Kyu really appreciates and can only experience from Mimi.
My words aren't even enough to express how much I feel these two care for each other, honestly. I mean, seriously. There's just so much love in their eyes.
And those are my four favorite Suju members, who (not so?) coincidentally make up the OTPs ♥
But since there are 15 of them, I don't mind others/some variation every so often:
SJ - KangTeuk (!!!), Heechul/all the quiet and thus easily controllable dongsaengs (including Henry and Zhou Mi) all at once, EunHae, Yesung/Yesung (idk)
SJM - SiHan, SiHae, Everyone/Henry, Chinamen trio oh yeahhh
