I forget what I was talking about, but have a brief ramble.
Spent the day packaging relief goods to send out for anyone who came to ask for them.
I hope they really do go to a family in need. I hope it helps them somewhat, temporarily, until they could stand for themselves and rebuild.
All the schoolmates I've heard from thus far are okay. Lost houses, cars, material possessions, but in the end, it won't make a difference. We all lose those, don't we?
These are the days when we are forcefully reminded of the fact that we are all equal. The only discrimination in humanity is the one we make ourselves. The only suffering in this world is the one we bring upon others. The only distance between me and another person is the one we accept to have between ourselves.
Why must we accept? Why must we let be?
Classes are suspended until next week, but I'm going to school at 6AM tomorrow so we can actually drive to the affected areas and distribute the relief goods. I'm excited. I've never felt so much community spirit than I do now, from myself, or from everyone.
