supposedly ibiza, portugal, is a common touristy place. i'm not one for taking a trip and doing only touristy things though... italy would be nice, i think. especially venice. i've been there and i loved it. but europe would be expensive over spring break, methinks.

i've never been to venice. i liked spain a lot, though. it wouldn't be that expensive because my spring break is at a different time.. i think it's a week earlier or later or something than the regular college break. it's over the week of st. patrick's day. also, i can get hotel discounts, so the main thing would just be the airfare. there's a sheraton spa in porto that i could stay at for $49 a night, and another sheraton resort that's the same price in san sebastian, spain, which is apparently a big vacation spot for europeans. since i'm basically just dealing with airfare, it's like $300 to fly somewhere in the US, might as well go to europe for $400, i think.
