new season, old tricks
i bought a very expensive radar detector: a valentine one. it should arrive tomorrow or the next day. i did a ton of research and everything seemed to indicate it's pretty much the best on the market. there seems to be no real point to owning it, since i (knock on wood) never get convicted of speeding. but i've wanted one for about two years, and i like the idea of being able to run amok if i decide to do so.
i also feel like i should make a comment regarding the summer of ashlee. i know i've let you all down; with october here, there's no denying that i failed. as far as i can tell, i made such a poor showing because (1) i didn't drink enough, (2) i didn't stay out late enough, and (3) i didn't wear the right clothes.
what i really need is a new initiative for the fall season - any suggestions?
