i couldn't answer this in poll format because i don't tend to put cigarettes in the same category with other "drugs" - i realize technically they are a "drug", and someone smoking would probably make me a little concerned for their health esp if they coughed a lot, but to me it's not the same thing. the next level of "drug" for me would be alcohol and pot, and if someone was using this on a casual social basis like alcohol once a week or less and pot once a month or less, again no problem. anybody using either one more frequently than that would bug me. i personally hate the smell of pot so potheads and me do not get along as a general rule. finally, everything else you listed, the person better be taking once a year or less and preferably when i'm not around and don't tell me about it. you kinda combined them all so i couldn't answer your poll right.
for the big finish...anyone who hangs around with drug users, assuming "drug" means heavy pot or alcohol use, or regular use of anything else you listed (other than cigs) is 99% likely to be bad news. even if they are OK themselves, they're likely to have at least one friend with an addiction problem who will bug the shit out of you and/or steal you blind. how do i know these things? i was in love with a drunk and a drug head for years and watched him go progressively down the toilet. i've also seen many other people go through shit with drug users.
drug use beyond "casual pot and alcohol" is one of the two or three things, the others being lying and general unreliability, that will make me dispose of a person toute de suite.
the worst thing about the drug use is people will come up with 1,000 excuses for what they do, or hide it. it really makes me sick, how many people are tooting something on a regular basis and will hide it and insist to you that there's no problem.
