but there's only so many times that you can feel like you're trying to be as accepting and social as possible and people are still taking advantage of you.

I'm still going through _THAT_. People are constantly taking advantage of me. I've learned to deal with it. I mean, if I'm going out of my way to be social and civil towards someone, and they don't return the favor, then screw them...they're obviously not worth me worrying about.
