Christmas Is Coming
I've been working on getting more into the holiday spirit lately, hence my new icon. *grins* Makes me all kinds of cheerful. Sorry, man, but you really did ask for it.
We did a drawing a few days ago to pick names for a secret santa thing. I guess that's a good idea. It would be difficult, not to mention downright expensive, to buy gifts for everyone in the house. I'm assuming that we're going to be exchanging the gifts at some sort of a Christmas party, but I haven't heard much about that idea yet. I'm sure the girls will plan something, they never pass up an opportunity to have a party. So, I guess I better finish up my shopping this weekend. God, I hate malls, especially at this time of year.

I don't think I could have picked a more unlikely name than I did. I got Clem. I can't believe I have to buy a Christmas present for a demon! What am I supposed to get for him? I know he's rather fond of kittens but, while I am aware that cats and dogs are commonly used as food in many parts of the world, I don't think the others would appreciate my indulging his taste for alternate cuisine. But I really have no idea what else to get the guy.
On another note, in spite of this secret santa plan, I do plan on getting gifts for a few other people. I think it's only appropriate that I get a little something for Mr. Giles, as he is my roommate. I would also like to get Xander something, he has been a good friend to me this past year.
And then there's Faith. I found something that I'd really like to get her, but I'm not sure if I should. I'm afraid she might take it the wrong way. That she'd think that I was trying to change her or obligate her in some way. But I do think that would look absolutely beautiful around her neck. I'll have to think about it some more.
