Another Day At The Office
I've been trying to come up with ideas for new activities for the students to get involved in when the school year starts up again. The school already offers a wide variety of choices in sports, theater and academic clubs, pretty much all the usual stuff that you'd find at any school. So far the only ideas I've come up with are for an astronomy club and implementing a self-defense course or a new sports team for some line of martial arts. There are a number of other schools in Ohio that have karate teams and they have several tournaments each year, so there's already a field for competition there. That should help to convince the school board that we wouldn't simply be teaching students how to beat each other up.
On the home front, I gave Buffy that list of possible Hellmouth locations. I don't think she's had a chance to really look at it yet though (since I haven't heard her scream about the Starbucks possibility), since she's been busy with her father pompous ass visiting.
Also of note, Faith took out another one of those female vampires that she'd first encountered a few weeks ago. She seemed a little more lively when I saw her this morning; maybe her recent detachment was just the weight of unfinished business. I certainly hope so.
