ok so can someone please explain . . grills?

ok but seriously. when did metal in your mouth become cool . .
i had braces for fucking ever. . they are almost like grills. . fucking not cool man. you get food stuck in them, and this one time i was super drunk and puked. i had asparagus for supper the night before. asparagus is gross and stringy coming up ( for those of you who have not puke asparagus). shits gross. it got mad stuck in my braces and i was all drunk ass. that was also the first time i got busted for drinking, and almost got thrown in the drunk tank after shaking a cop ( that's another story)
back to the point of this . . grills. .
how do they work . . like are they permanent. . or are they like dentures , you can just pop em in and out. do you need fixadent? cuz that'd be some funny shit, some ganster dude all applying fixadent to his grillz. haha imagine the commericals. . oh god.
can you eat with them in?
i guess i could google all of this but really im incredibly lazy and dont want to. so you know if you have any answers. . feel free to post em.
