Hey all!

Since things are pretty slow around here, we won't be having a new round every month, but this post will serve as the active post until/if things get busier. The mods are still monitoring things, and we'll still be around, so this isn't to say that we've abanoned the comm and are shutting things down. It just seems a bit silly to keep ( Read more... )

Shortly after first Avengers movie (or after mass fix-its or what have you, the team's together either way). They're fighting some (magical?) enemy and Steve gets turned into a kid. A kid who is only just mastering speech. Who hasn't learned yet that his mother's tongue will get him in trouble throughout the neighborhood. Basically he's running all over the place and what little he does speak is like ~80% Irish with a dash of sing-songy mish-mashy language soup that bears only a passing resemblance to English he picked up from other tenants (immigrant families) in their apartment building. He's not at all shy about 'giving' the Avengers every word he knows.

Sadness is okay because all their stories are sad, but gentle sweet/fluff fun and bonding would be preferred.

I am indifferent to whether he keeps the benefits of Erskine's work or to how permanent the de-aging is. Good luck!

Massive bonus to portray all the present characters as reasonably intelligent people even when they make stupid mistakes (significant headcanon of mine, sorry if it causes you trouble)

(Also, politics wear me out, please leave them out of the picture. I mainly just need some fluffy interaction right now. Not trying to be picky, just something that seems to crop up more with MCU than anything else)

(rtmi very welcome)

This sounds...so good. I'd love to read it!

(I'd love to write it, for that matter. But I think I'm a bit rusty on my Avengers writing skills!)
