Avengers/BBC Sherlock anonymous February 2 2013, 23:14:33 UTC
For whatever reason you like, the Avengers encounter Sherlock and Watson. Would especially like to see some Sherlock and Tony interaction, and Watson Steve interaction. But the whole team + any SH characters would be just awesome.

As, you know, a "god," Thor doesn't need much sleep (this is my non-comics-canon-educated assumption). This results in him being the go-to guy for insomniac Avengers who've just had nightmares, or who just can't sleep. Thor always manages to cheer them up. Family feels, comfort food, and cuddle puddles please? Or, you know, just team feels in general. :)

Tony teaches Steve to ride a horse imbecamiel February 4 2013, 00:15:37 UTC
I don't think I've posted anything regarding this yet...

I can see Tony knowing more about horses than one might on the surface suspect - his family is certainly wealthy enough to have had horses when he was growing up, even if he doesn't now, and I imagine it's likely he would've had riding lessons at some point, if nothing else.

Steve, on the other hand, I tend to think of as being more competent overall when it comes to outdoorsy things. But... I think it's quite possible he wouldn't have had much opportunity to come into close contact with horses, growing up in the city as he did, and he might well have never learned to ride and in fact be quite clueless when it comes to how to handle them.

So... I think it'd be amusing to see some situation where Tony teaches Steve how to ride a horse.

Rather cracky, silly idea... though I'd rather it didn't go too over-the-top OOC slapstick.

Some Bad Guy accidentally kidnaps one of the Avengers in the course of their civilian life. (Setup can be whatever you like. For instance, maybe Bad Guy is robbing a bank, things go wrong, he winds up taking said Avenger, who is in the wrong place at the wrong time and caught off-guard, hostage.) When that bad guy (or team of bad guys, probably) realizes just who he's kidnapped he utterly panics, because he knows that the rest of the Avengers, and SHIELD, and who knows who else is going to be coming after him. And he's pretty much freaking out, because he knows just how deep a hole he's dug himself, that they are going to be very much Not Happy - particularly if the kidnapped Avenger has been in any way hurt in the course of events ( ... )

I wrote a thing! It's a bit silly and, while an Avenger does get held hostage, they don't get properly kidnapped...

Here you go anyway: http://solo-by-choice.livejournal.com/69394.html

5+1 Fans and the Avengers anonymous February 10 2013, 19:02:11 UTC
Five times the Avengers were mobbed, irritated, or put in danger by fans, and one time a fan was actually decent and not rabid, possibly even helpful. Crack or parody welcome.
