I like plot, but prefer the main thrust of the fic to be emotional in some way. (I also dislike that he destroyed hundreds of millions of dollars of tech -- feel free to handwave that away too.) And obviously Pepper still has Extremis too! (She doesn't have to be Rescue though.) Scenarios you might enjoy (optional): Kink and/or relationship negotiation, pining (particularly pining where one character masturbates while fantasizing about another character), cross dressing leading to PWP (particularly putting the guys in corsets!), characters dealing with everyday life in their own ridiculous superheroic ways (catching a cold, going grocery shopping, home/auto repair, etc.). I'm also very interested in back story for secondary characters like Pepper, Rhodey, and Maria, if you're writing them, and though I don't as a rule like gender-swapped stories, I'd love to see always-a-girl!Rhodey.
