Sorry I'm tardy. I haven't been online much lately due to RL, and I've been neglecting you :)

Please feel free to discuss the episode here if you haven't already hashed it out elsewhere.

I thought it was great. They really kept the momentum up from last season and hit the ground running.

Ward was creepy as hell. At this point, I'm not sure if he really wants to make amends to Skye, or he's just going Silence of the Lambs on her. Excellent acting job by Brett Dalton, either way.

The stuff with Fitz-Simmons was sad at first, but man was that twist at the end well done. That made the episode for me.

I think I actually yelled at the TV after that twist. I was shocked that Simmons was all in Fitz's head. But such a great twist.

I have no idea what I want to happen with Ward. He's very creepy right now though.

I really want them to keep him a bad guy for a long time. Too many TV shows have the villain redeem himself quickly, it's nice to see them use a main character this way and not water it down too fast. So far, AoS is doing it very well. :)

I'm honestly hoping for a redemption arc that takes YEARS. With real character growth. I just thought the portrayal of Ward was so smart! He's not just a Hydra dupe, he's kind of this pathetic creature who has to be told what to do, and isn't comfortable if he's not taking orders. I'm not sure I have ever seen that kind of male character on TV like this before.

I agree that I hope it takes more than one season, that he has moments of temptation and does fall back on them. They mentioned Romanoff a lot during the first season but she's already to the point where it's like everything she does she feels has to make up for what she did before. They never allow her to have any doubt or temptation so I hope they do with him.

I really don't want Ward to become like Regina on Once Upon a Time...redeemed and immediately reward by having her happy ending ripped from her.
