A/N: Written for the Clint Barton/Natasha Romanoff Promptathon at be_compromised, for allisnow's prompt: AU where it was Natasha in New Mexico when Loki arrived instead of Clint.. As I can't see someone with Natasha's skillset being stationed at the New Mexico site, I'm interpreting the prompt more narrowly as “what if Natasha was in the room when Loki arrived instead of Clint.” This fic also references Fury's Big Week.
