Steve needs someone to help work on a new vintage motorcycle he bought and asks Tony. Tony's busy and, instead of being a normal person and just recommending a good mechanic, offers Rhodey's services. Rhodey might be annoyed at Tony for volunteering him without asking, but he's also kind of excited to be working with Captain America. As they work on the bike, Steve gets to know Rhodey as a super-competent, intelligent military man, and he starts to develop a crush. Where it goes is completely up to filler: Does Rhodey reciprocate? Is Tony jealous? If so, who exactly is he jealous of?

Er, pretty much exactly what it says in the subject line. Thor has been working with the Avengers for some time now, but finds he misses his brother. And Tony reminds him very much of a younger Loki, from before his demons overtook him. Snark and bittersweet sexytimes ensue.

Alphas and omegas have daemons. Omegas have female daemons, alphas have male daemons. I don't really care where anon goes with this, so long as this idea is used. :D

Out of curiosity, why would alphas have male daemons and omegas have female ones specifically, regardless of the person's actual sex?

Not op but it makes sense:

The books had little bits of awkward and problematic sex/sexuality issues related to that. When Lyra is on the boat,(iirc) she specifically notes that a character has a same-gendered daemon and is more or less confused because she thinks she should be squicked out, but she totally isnt.

I think astolat has a fusion fic in Adam Lambert/ AI8 fandom that explicitly addresses some of those issues, and I know that between that and the reliance on form to define personality, you have a fandom that allows writers to explore themes of sex and roles/personality with impunity, which really, IMO, meshes well with the Dom/sub verse/Alpha/omega verse settings.

Steve gets blinded on a mission (it can be temporary or permanent). The other Avengers offer some friendly company and help him to cope and to get used to the impairment. Since he's not able to see right now, he uses his other (serum-augmented) senses more than before in order to compensate, and for this reason, Steve gets some interesting clues about what Tony's real feelings for him are. And decide to act upon this new knowledge acquired.

I am writing a fill for this and I am crushing on it hardcore, but I just moved for a job and the Internet isn't working on my computer yet so the fill is isolated from the meme and I am just dropping by to say be patient and good things will come if by good things you mean my fill, which may or may not actually be good as I am the only one who has seen it and it is barely started really so far. So. Don't worry too much! I'm on it!
