Loki tries to disable Tony's tech advantages, so he gives/makes Jarvis a human body (I imagine Paul Bettany). Jarvis deals with it as best he can but it's frightening.

Later that night, Tony dug up the old files he'd written into Jarvis, the first list of priorities.

1. Assist Tony in research and building.
2. Keep track of Tony's interests.
3. Keep up-to-date on technical data files.
4. Assist Tony in any other way requested.He wanted to jab the delete button, erase it all, give it to Jarvis to write as he saw fit. But he couldn't. Because it was already in Jarvis, a part of his psyche, forever. Tony was starting to understand Loki might have had one or two other reasons than just some technical setbacks for freeing Jarvis from the machine world

This is so sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. I loved how you portray Jarvis and his struggle with becoming human; also the fact that Tony wanted to be better than his father in this situation - it was a brilliant touch.

“Sir?” Jarvis’ voice was thin, breathy, weak, like someone who’d already endured too much.

Tony’s blood ran cold, and he saw Natasha stiffen. The call was on video mode, Tony realized belatedly, but only showed Loki’s face. Tony’s fingers moved tightly, almost robotically, kicking the picture up to the viewscreen on the wall.

“Brother, what have you done?” Thor asked ominously.

Loki looked down at him, and then turned slightly, dismissing Thor from his consideration completely. As he shifted, Tony could see Jarvis behind him, blindfolded and strapped to a chair, sopping wet. Next to him was a small panel with a dial, wires trailing out of it to disappear under Jarvis’ shirt.

Electricity and water. Hell on earth for a computer-made-human, his greatest fears. Tony couldn’t breathe for a second, Jarvis’ pain his own, compounded with the smell of damp stone and sand, yells in a language he didn’t understand.
