Iron Man 2

Bruce thought a sequel was thoroughly unnecessary, but he didn't say that. The other guy really wanted to, though.

"Ah, right where we left off," Thor said, finally relaxing back onto the couch.

"Through the eyes of a greasy Russian man," Steve pointed out.

"Hey!" Natasha sat up and gave Steve a death glare.

"Sorry! I just...I didn't mean you were greasy!"

"It's gonna be like the robotic suit version of Rocky IV," Clint mused, pulling Natasha back. "I MUST BREAK YOU."

Apparently, in this movie, Tony was dying because he was keeping himself alive. Tony would do that to himself, Bruce decided. But it was hard to feel bad for him when he was hell-bent on spending his last days not telling anyone and being an egotistical asshole. Bruce looked around the room and saw the others squirming, too.

"Who is this handsome lug?" Tony asked, grinning. "He should have gotten an Oscar for this."

Bruce grabbed the DVD case. "His last name's Downey. Wait---Downey, Junior."

Steve raised his eyebrows. "Downey? Isn't that fabric softener?"

Tony smirked. "Well, we know I'm just a big softie underneath it all."

"Look!" Thor pointed at the screen. "It is Natasha! With such long tresses!"

"Her hair is about five shades too dark," Natasha said flatly. "Otherwise, she looks fine."

All hell starts to break loose around movie-Tony. Bruce and the others exchange smirks. Then they cringe for his living room (party room---whatever it was) as it falls to pieces while movie-Tony and movie-Rhodey duked it out.

"I WOULD LIKE TO SIT IN A GIANT DONUT!" Thor exclaimed randomly.

"Go ahead," Clint told him. "No one's stopping you."

"I shall finish watching these films first."

"So why did you get recruit by Fury personally?" Bruce asked. "No offense, Natasha, but I'm feeling a little unimportant here."

"Maybe you would have gotten a personal visit if you'd courted the tabloids more often," Natasha remarked.

Thor sat up and furrowed his brow. "This is not terribly important, but early, Tony referred to an old man as 'Larry' (I do believe he mistook him for someone else), and I am quite certain I saw the same man in the other two films. Am I the only one who took note of this?"

Tony sighed. "Thor, you're being paranoid. So please shut up. Oh, shit, Coulson's back. Phil, just take a long vacation in Hawaii. You deserve it! Just run away while you can!"

"Captain!" Thor pointed at the screen again, looking even more excited this time. "It is your shield! Or a modified version of it, at the very least."

"Yeah, it is. I guess this all happened while I was..." Steve looked away.

The whole story climaxed in a gigantic robot fight that was a lot better than the last one. And all the bad guys were punished and Coulson went to New Mexico.

"That was...kind of pointless," Clint grumbled. "Next!"

Natasha crossed her arms. "Okay, the film's Natasha's hair was obviously a fall---my curls have never been that neat. Especially during a fight. I just thought you should know."

"Remember: the credits." Bruce skipped past them again.

Coulson got out of a car. Then the camera zoomed in on a bunch of people gathered around a familiar-looking hammer...

"YES!" Thor bounced up and down on the couch and slammed his fists on the cushions. "YES! YES! YES! YES!! YES!!! YES!!!! YES!!!!!"

Clint grinned. "...I'll have what he's having."

lol

I can't wait til they show Thor. Maybe now Thor (and the Avengers) will understand a little bit just why Loki acts the way he does.

This is awesome! I can't stop laughing.

Is it wrong that I want the Avengers to watch the deleted scenes for "Thor" too?

>implying the climactic fight in Iron Man 2 was at all better than Iron Man.
>implying anything about Iron Man two was better than the first

You're allowed to believe what ever you want, but I believe you're adding implications where there were none.

Thank you for the critique. I'll be sure to keep it in mind for my next fic. And I'm honored to be deemed worthy of a Tropic Thunder quote.
