So Tony, who is going back to California as soon as he can get his shit together long enough to finish his business in New York and go home, invites his semi/future teammate along for the ride. Clint's reluctant but Pepper convinces him they could actually use his security expertise and if a fourth person (after Happy) is living with them in Malibu... well, that'd help too. So Clint, without much direction on where else he might go, goes with it.
When they get to Malibu Clint, Tony, and Pepper bond. Can be friendship, would love it as a relationship (I never see this pairing). Feel free to add in Natasha as Spy Bros with Clint and/or Bruce as Science Bros with Tony. Plus Rhodey, Rhodey would be awesome. But, really, I'd be happy with just some Clint/Tony/Pepper.
+ Rhodey. I mentioned Rhodey, right? We don't see him enough in Tony fic.
++ Some Dom/sub stuff (in or out of the bedroom) with Clint as Dom or Clint and Pepper as Co-Dom/mes.
+++ Includes all or elements of Iron Man 3 because I was one of those fans who actually liked it. :)
