The Comfort Zone: Leaking

Sep 26, 2006 15:49

I've been thinking, using my thinking wisely or throwing it out there, can and will get you in trouble.

But..

Have you ever come to a conclusion that you just don't care anymore?

I mean, honestly, I'm the biggest thinker, when am I not thinking? I'm pretty sure a lot of people think, but not like I can.

I'm a person that sometimes doesn't wait, which is bad. Sometimes I can, but time is too short. I like challenges, I like looking at things around me.

Ex:When you go into a room for the first time, what do you feel? Does it excite you? Amuse you? What type of scents do you get from this room? Is this room special to you or I should say, Does it match your comfort zone?

It depends whats in this room, you might get the certain flow going on, either it can make you feel good or it could make you feel bad. Theres always two things to everything, whether you like it or not. TWO, unless you pick, then it becomes ONE or maybe NONE.

Getting back on point. They're things about this room you like, but theres one thing with this room that you don't like. It's okay, because everything else about this room is good, so you don't really pay attention to that one thing that is bad about the room. Eventually, things get added to the room. More and More things, that you love about this room. I'm not going to explain the things that go into this room, because all of you know what can be in this room.

You get this comfort with this room, you, honestly, love this room to death that you can't bare to see yourself ever leaving this room, BUT, don't you hate that? ( BUT), but, things start happening.

Just like any good thing, comes a bad thing. Now the bad part is, anything could happen. Something could break or maybe even leak, or maybe even something could catch on fire. Now, things such like leak, break, or dents in random places, can be fixed right? Of course you can fix them, but, lets say all these things are happening all at the same time. What are you going to do?

Your trying to do everything in your power to fix these problems with this room, and you might have fixed one, but theres always another problem. You fix the leaking situation, but then you notice that the leaking continues. It's just not going away,is it? Now, when you decided to choose this room, you knew there was a problem with it, but you kept going on staying there.

Eventually, you find more problems with the room, and more, and more, and eventually, you don't want to stay in that room anymore. The vibe, your just not feeling it anymore. Your not feeling how you use to feel about this room when you first got in it. You still liked the room, but it just wasn't you anymore.

Honestly, it's okay to feel that way. People don't notice things or problems from the first start. Sometimes they do notice them, but it doesn't bother them at first until little things happen and that one problem in the beginning that you didn't look at, starts to stick out more and more. Then you realize that, you have to get out of that problem and find a better solution.

The reason to all this?
People eventually find better rooms, or comfort zones. Some people take time, because that room that they were in effected them, but honestly, you still miss that room. Even through that one problem that stuck out, that one annoying leak, you managed to fix it though. Did you ever wonder why it was leaking though? Maybe even question the hell out of yourself a thousand times, "Why the hell are you still leaking, after I fixed you?"

That room, something was wrong with it to begin with, and maybe that room wasn't for you in the first place. At first it was fit for you, even if you knew that the leak was there, but it wasn't out of control, you delt with it. Thats the problem now a days, people deal with things because "IT DOESN'T BOTHER THEM AT FIRST" but now it bothers the hell out of you, because even if it was a little leak, you could of fixed it in the beginning, but the fact of the matter is, you let that leak GET out of control, and now you couldn't fix it because, why?

YOU didn't fix it in the beginning...
