mardi gras......
thank god mardi gras is over.....it feels like the city has been partying for a month now! i'm totally wiped out....i closed on saturday--meaning i got out of work at 6:30 sunday morning.......then I closed monday--a 6:00 departure time.....i then got about 4-5 hours sleep and went out with mike and becca for mardi gras day celebrations.....had an absolute blast....haven't laughed that hard in a while! i love going out with mike and bec....we hung at cat's for a while.....then bar hopped down bourbon for awhile then ended up at mike and bec's house for pizza, king cake and laughs!
this morning i'm totally exhausted! i had to get up and return the rental car--which made me really sad cuz i LOVED it....i so want a new car......but my credit is in the toilet thanks to my poverty.....meaning i will get a new car sometime in the next century....i think my parents are gonna try to help buy me a new one.....but that will be sometime in the future.....oh well!
i'm sad that rob's visit is almost over.....it's been nice having someone take care of me! rob was horrified by my pantry and went and bought groceries.....so he's been making me pasta and all sorts of yumminess! also gonna miss the company.....but i gotta be honest that i don't get school work done when someone else is in the house.....just not conducive to my studying........
anywho.....today has been proclaimed a day of rest and laundry! even tripp is pooped!
