Life in the Fast Lane
So growing up is fun...right?
sure!
I actually feel like myself...whizzing through lines of cars as I'm cycling home after a day of work. It's is a really invigorating experience...especially since i'm in the land of cars. I'm prancing around the store in Beverly Hills in my Burkies...sooo L.A. or something like that.
On the right track again...searching diligently for work in the non-profit sector. I think environmental action or food/nutrition policy and agricultural awareness is where my niche lies. I'm volunteering with Urban Farming, which is a wonderful organization that started in Detroit. Really great, we're having a huge dedication at the Weingart Center in downtown LA in a couple weeks. Various other projects too...going to dress up and be a tarot reader for this huge Halloween party. or just paint faces, whatever, it will be a blast!!!
Heading for the Frisco bay...the East side of it actually, Berkly/Emeryville - ish area. Pixar, Greenday fans & TREES!!! Clearly I'll fit in a bit more. Kaitlin and I are going to find out where the grad students hang out and begin operation...find chill, cool dudes to hang out with! Ugh. sooo sick of self-centered morons, overgrown children & horny old men. seriously!!!
Working and being a hermit. Began my skateboarding adventure today in the store...it was slow as shit, we have some company skateboards? Yeah, Norwegians are special. It's funny how I will hurl myself down a mountain with out pause, jump into waves & take a dive on my bike....but I'm terrified of going down on a skateboard!!! Only fell once and have a tiny bruise on my pinky knuckle because of a huge ring I was wearing. In my bare feet too! good times in LA!
peace out. also decided I'm going to move back to NYC in a few years. I miss the energy of the city...no other place in the world has that magical eb and flow.
oooh and my trip home last week was AMAZING> I love autumn in wisco. getting lost in the arb with joints, tea & buddies. :) warms the heart.
