It's funny how LJ was all the rage back in the day, now we're all bamboozled with Twitter! P.S. SavoySalsa is me :)
So, Los Angeles Round II ....
This is what I've learned, again...you must always remain true to yourself, the second you undertake something you don't believe in...fate will kick in & intervene
I was totally, unexpectedly shit-canned at Bebe about a week ago. Corporate downsizing. It doesn't matter who you know, how hard you work & how innovative you are...the new kid gets the axe. This was for the best. Clearly the universe is telling me I shall never be caged by the corporate world, I've been led back to Tinsel Town to make this shit work. So, once a steady pay check is landed; I shall begin to sew like a mother fucker...yet again.
I'm fortunate to have canyons to hike & the ocean to cleanse. This would be unbearable otherwise.
In hindsight, I'm still grateful for taking the corporate job, now I can say with full conviction: DAMN THE MAN!
So it's back to what I know...hanging out with musicians & artists. Getting involved & having them wear my stuff. Roll with the punches. Make good shit & get seen. Simple, right?

anyways, that is all. Stick to your guns. Follow your hunches. Go with you gut. Never forget why you pursue your passion.
