(PIC!!!!) See? You don't have to be Pat Robertson to play the "it's a sign from Heaven because I say it's so" game."
For those of you following the saga of my military service and medical problems, my command finally got my non medical assessment signed.
10 June - follow up with Ortho doc, send package to Bethesda if they won't let me hand deliver
7 July - Recieve findings, expected to be 'unfit'
21 July - complete checkout from 2MarDiv, go home PTAD for ten days
31 July - return to CLNC for final ooh rah
1 August - Go home on terminal leave never to set foot aboard Camp Lejeune again.
The alternate (and unlikely) timeline would be something like:
7 July - recieve findings of 'fit for duty'
July/August - Hope to God Mandy can get orders here, if not, request admin seperation.
August/September - Have exploratory and hopefully corrective surgery on knee.
September/March - More rehab
April - either start over with medical discharge process, or if all better, go back to RTP as a student
July 07 - attend Basic Reconnaissance Course (note this requires 14 months left on contract, have to extend as original EAS is May 08)
October/November - SERE and Jump
2008 - either get schooled up (Dive/Ranger/Sniper/Freefall) or do workup and deploy
