Hrmm, thinking aloud...

Two part time graduate diplomas = full time study ?

16 subjects, done 6

Done:

Intro to Java 1yr
Intermediate Java 1yr
AI Fundamentals 2nd yr
Algorithms and data Structures 2yr
Discrete Mathemamatics 1yr
Applied Algebra 2yr

Maths Subjects I want to do:

Discrete Algebraic Structures 3yr (done the pre-req)
Topology 3yr
Game Theory 3yr
Analysis 2yr
*need one more 3rd year subject to get 60pt in Mathematics, love to do something more related to crypto hrmm

Technically I suppose the subjects in Dip of Mathematical and Information Science can be from Com Sci, Stats and Maths. So as long as I have 4 units at 3rd year there the rest can be other stuff.

Now, Dip of Com Sci had a bunch of compulsory units I have already done, namely

Intro to Java 1yr
Intermediate Java 1yr
AI Fundamentals 2nd yr
Algorithms and data Structures 2yr
Discrete Mathemamatics 1yr

with an average of 90, blemished by the fact that my ALG assignemnt wansn't properly executed, ie, the Java VM was not given enough mem for the size of the files processed - I eventually gave up trying to chase down the lecture about it. But I digress...

I am not sure if OFA counts towards the 8 units for the com sci dip but that would leave 3-4 more subjects.

Com sci units I would like to do:

Automated Reasoning 3yr
Computational intelligence (or something sounding vaguely like it) 3yr
Something on network security, pissy intro to encryption* (though the content of that has changed) 3yr
Programming in C++ 1st/2nd year?
*maybe Operating Systems 3yr
*maybe Graphics Programming

question is do I have enough units I would like to do to do both degrees, instead of just sticking to one which requires 4 more subjects (for 2 of which I will need to pay myself, as they are extra). However if I chose this option then I can only do one maths unit, Discrete Algebraic Structures.
