So far Applied Algebra has been cool, I mean, as per usual with me it requires study outside of class and completing my tutorial question in private - it is soo silly but I also get embarassed I'm to slow and freeze up :(

Brian, the lecturer, is very fun, nothing he says is ever dull, and he gives a lot of good examples of what this bit of theorem means and how to imagine it in your head, like congruency modulo, and the Chinese remainder theorem and cog wheels with differnet number of teeth!
The mathematical syntax and what the idea expressed mean are a bit unfamiliar to me, so I need the concept explained/acted out and then the mathy code suddenly makes sense!

It is a challenging class, mostly cause eventually your brain falls out of synch with brian's explanation and you gotta race, but it makes me try. I go through moment of feeling oh yeah I am getting this yay, to oh crap I will fail half of my classmates did Analysis so they are all math-brained and smarted than me. I know me though, and I need my time after class to absorb and practice stuff, I did that with DM, I hardly did half of the prac in class but always finished them at home later and got 93 in the end. I know DM is a walk in the park compared to AAL but I hope if I apply the sam strategy I will be ok.

...even if I have to ask someone for beginner proof help eventually..

Coding theory!! in a few lecture's time!! yay! and simultaneous OMG my brain is dead I can't add fears.
