This is very long, so I'm putting it under a cut!
Name: Katara
Age: 14 in canon, but she's had a birthday in camp, so she's 15 now.
Date of Birth: Canon doesn't say, so I gave her one sometime in the second week of December, gg Water Tribe not keeping track of birthdays!
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Dark Brown
Height: N-not sure. About a head taller than Aang and a bit shorter than Sokka. She seems the average height for a girl her age in her series.
Build: Slim, fairly toned (Waterbending is based off Tai Chi, so it's probably better for toning muscles rather than building them) and pretty curvy for a girl her age.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Sure! Just email me or PM me first!
Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: Katara's pretty tactile with her family and friends, so hugs are good! Kissing would probably make her freak out, though, not to mention incite the WRATH OF THE PROTECTIVE OLDER BROTHER.
Maim/Murder/Death: Injuries are fine, killing not so much.
What's Okay To Mention Around Her: I can't think of anything that wouldn't be? Thanks to a thread with an audience member in her intro post, she'll pass off any mentions of her being a fictional character/people recognising her as the result of the stories of the Avatar and his adventures being well-known in other places, and she thinks this is a very good thing!
Physical traits: HAIR LOOPIES~ Okay, all joking aside, Katara dresses in traditional Water Tribe clothing, which, depending on what time of year it is, consists of various combinations of medium-blue kimono-looking-things over pants. Her hair is likewise in a traditional Water Tribe hairsyle, which involves the majority of her hair being pulled back in a bun, the rest of it being in a braid that comes out of the bun, with two small pieces of hair at the hairline threaded through beads and then attached to the bun. IT'S EASIER TO CALL THEM HAIR LOOPIES. She also wears her mother's betrothal necklace, which is a circular piece of shell or bone carved with the Water Tribe symbol, at all times. When she hasn't got access to a body of water, she carries an animal skin filled with water on her person rather like a shoulder bag. There's enough water in there for her to perform a basic array of waterbending moves/attacks, and for her to heal as well.
Abilities: For starters, Katara is a Waterbending Master. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Well, it means she can manipulate water to a very high degree. Provided there's enough water nearby, she can do everything from controlling formations of water (Water Whip, Octopus, etc) to creating tidal waves of various sizes. She's also able to use water to cut through things, and can freeze as well as condense it. Provided she covers her hands with water first, Katara can also use her waterbending to heal wounds.
Cooking: Given how Katara had a mass of responsibilities heaped on her after the men of her tribe went off to war, including fishing, sewing and midwifery, I'd say she definitely knows how to cook and most likely pretty well, since I've never come across Sokka complaining about her cooking. Of course, it's probably all traditional Water Tribe stuff, so...umm...a lot of fish-related things? But she's probably a quick study. I hope.
Secrets: Nothing that I can think of? Katara's a pretty up-front girl.
Note to psychics: Katara's mind is full of things like worrying about the war, Aang and her family as well as lots of DETERMINATION AND DRIVE THAT THEY WILL SUCCEED. There's probably a lot of thinking about her bending going on in there, too.
