Well, I survived another New Years. THis one was even less interesting than any previous one I can think of. I did very little drinking the day before, and none actually on New Years. I didn't go out. I haven't been out at all, really, during December, except during the two trips I took to see my Father and the other side of my family, and a

1) In her most recent entry, my former beloved actually makes nice, causing me to wonder if there's a chance we can have a truce with around 700 miles of buffer zone between us.
2) I'm amazingly paranoid, and the odds are about 95% that you're artful_wench herself, though I'd be disapointed in her if she went for the "anonymous" route, when she could have easilly just set up a second livejournal user.
3) I just don't like anonymous users all that much. It takes almost as long to make a livejournal account as it took for me to type this comment.
btw, I also find both myself and the artful one to be articulate and interesting reads. She took ME off of her friends list, so that actually puts me a step BELOW people who have never been on it. So, count yourself lucky that you've got a higher reguard than I do.
You should get a username. I'm sure I'd add you to my friends list. That way, if I decide to start blocking any of my thoughts, you'd get the good stuff. Mind you, being an egotistical leo, I don't see myself able to post entries without sharing them with the masses...
Thanks for reading...

I tend to get along well with the Aries gals I meet, though I have to remember to tone down my domination a bit. Which, since I've very recently promised myself I shall be less domineering at all times, would be quite easy.
Again, there are multiple reasons why I’d believe you to be she. She, knowing me better than any other ever has, is well aware I’d pay more attention to a fire-sign then any of the others, being such a fan of my leonine nature. Also, she would, without a doubt, choose a variation of the name “Elizabeth” to go by. She is a master of names, and would have been able to conjure “Elspeth” quite quickly. I tried to marry an Elizabeth, once, and artful believed she lived in this other one’s shadow for our entire relationship. The fact that Elizabeth is Charles’s dearest friend is yet another reason that artful hates her so. Elizabeth is also a fire-sign, though she’s a Sagittarius. You can see how the parallels would have made me a bit suspicious at the get-go. I was almost expecting a mention that you were a redhead with cobalt blue eyes.
However, I no longer believe you to be artful_wench. I may be paranoid, but I hope that artful wouldn’t continue to lie to me after I called her out.
So, why fore the anonymity? Can I, at the least, get a hint as to which continent you're living on? I really do hope my next great adventure finds me moving overseas somewhere.
You're not in New Zealand, are you? That would be luck, to bring the attention of the dunners on me once again...
Well, color me a curious cat.
You know, I never did address your question. Sorry 'bout that. My roommate, Chris, is on artful's friends list, so, therefore, I have access to her entries that way. When I was taken off of her friends list the other day, Chris told her that he'd have no hard feelings with her taking him off as well. Being that Chris is one of the best people I've ever met, artful was disinclined to take him off. I hope that was because, somewhere inside, she still wanted me to read her entries, though not as her "friend."
I blame myself. I took her off my friends list first, as far as I can recall.
Of course, mine's not friends only, so it doesn't stop her from reading my words.
I'm guessing you're likely British, or living in the area, since you make a reference to Ned Ludd. Or, I could just be reading too much into things. I do that. Especially when my audio book starts to get boring.
I could use an e-mail pen pal. But, I suppose that, as an almost self-proclaimed Luddite, you don't do much yahooing...
My loss...
