Okay, peeps...
So, the other day I acquired "The Incredibles", "Duel Masters", and "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater" for Playstation 2, because they're all down to twenty bucks at the Walz-Mart....
That, and the fact that we've had a shaky internet connection for the last 3 days means I've mostly been away from the computer lately...
I slept for 12 hours today, then woke up to find that we MOSTLY have the internet back. I've been trying to surf over the last hour, but all I can think about is Snake Eater. I had decided I was going to hate it before I even played it. You have to acquire camoflauge and eat animals and plants. Also, you can't just eat a heal potion or something to cure your wound. Example: an asshole shoots a poison-tipped dart at you. After the fight, you must go to the cure screen to do the following; Use your knife to pry the dart out of you. Use septic to stop the bleeding, clean the wound, bandage the wound, and perhaps tie it off a little so less blood goes that way, without applying a full T. Then, of course, you have to take the antidote for the poison. THEN you're okay...
Well, I played for 11 hours and 17 minutes yesterday. It's damn addicting, and it's drawing me back...
Instead of eating out yesterday and today, as Beth and I often do when even the slightest bit of money shows up, we bought a little more than a hundred bucks of groceries... Hey, I'm proud...
My beloved and I are getting along really well right now, though she's hating her current job more and more each day... Well, at least the home life is allright...
I'd type more, but my fingers are aching because it's like 30 degrees in my damn room... I need a space heater....
