My comment: Wow, okay I am so in love with this icon. Everything from the cropping to the coloring is spot on. And I really love the hint of the fire nation symbol in his fist, subtlety is rather rare in icons nowadays. ♥

- I feel that there is way too much going on in this icon. Some parts are a bit pixelly too.

- Zhao kinda blurs into the background, he doesn't stand out well so the composition loses it's effect. Also, the texture in the background blends into Zhao's figure which doesn't help, either.
- I think the idea for the icon was good, but the execution of it wasn't as good as it could have been. The smoke doesn't really add anything to the icon and Zhao blends almost too nicely into the background.
+ Good composition overall. I like the use of the smoky textures here.
+ I love how the intense yellow is specifically located at the firebending. The white texture suits this icon very well. =)
+ The coloring is lovely and I like the use of negative space.
+ The crop is excellent and the fire arcing of Zhao's back is a nice touch.

- This icon doesn't look that masculine to me, plus it's very plain.
- I'm not fond of the text/font used here. The icon coloring is kinda on the green side.

+ Just...gah. It's a beautiful icon, one of my favourite Aang icons ever.
+ I really like the colors in the icon and it's got a lot of emotion.
+ I really love how the pictures are blended together, the coloring and everything.

- The background and text seem kitsch compared to the beautiful job you did erasing the background originally. Simplicity is better!

- While selective coloring is nice every now and then, it doesn't really work here. Aang's too stiff and lifeless to have attention drawn to him.

+ I really, really, like this icon, great colouring and choice of crop. I must say however though that the tiny text I think is unnecessary... Great icon still though.

- There's really... nothing to this icon. It just kind of looks like a cropped screencap, and the colors are all very dark, so everything kind of blends into itself. The crop also isn't very creative.
- felt this was just too plain. could have used a texture to add a little something to it or made the image brighter

- The colouring is not at all original or interesting, I almost missed this icon twice.
- The coloring of this icon is too dark, and it makes Sokka's dark robe and hair sort of disappear into the background.
- It's really plain and very dark. Nothing really draws you to it.

- Very dark, oversaturated, almost oversharpened. The texture is extremely dominant and distracting. The border is also a little unsightly. It just looks very overworked.
- The border and texture are really overwhelming and it makes the image look too dark.
- Texture makes everything seem a bit grainy, colors are harsh and too dark, and the tiny text doesn't add much to the icon.
- I like the cropping here, but I'm not too crazy about the texture.
+ The framing and coloring is wonderful, like a page out of an old book. It's very creative

- The black and white doesn't really work on this icon - it makes the image hard to make out. The white brush seems tacked on and the text doesn't fit well inside the text balloon.
- weird texturing on sokka and...whoever's next to him...? The tiny text cuts of the bottom of the image, and the text bubble is way too big compared to the image.
- The "grudge" brush doesn't fit the "modern" text bubble.

- Nothing much seems to be done to the icon and it's a bit boring. The cropping is unremarkable and the colouring isn't interesting enough to make up for it.
- It's too yellow and the cropping is off.

+ I like the simplicity of the icon and the interesting mid-step pose that Jet is in. Nice crisp coloring as well.
