Summary: Sokka ponders life and comes to an interesting conclusion. Set Post S2 finale
Notes: This is another one of those gift fics that I'm terribly, horribly late delivering. This one is for superlazygirl, who wanted something Sokka-centric. Totally gen, though you might spot some implied Katara/Aang in the background. (I'm under the firm belief that it's not romantic but following Katara's likely reaction following the events of the S2 finale, but some people are sensitive to that stuff, so there you go.)
The sun was barely standing over the horizon, starting her upwards journey towards midday, but already the camp was bustling...
And also, a new Escapade is up as well:
The Escapades of the Blind Bandit and Meathead - Punchline
Summary: Toph and Sokka are unamused to discover that they're the butt of the joke.
Notes: the usual Escapade warnings apply: kinda/not really Tokka-ish stuff, drinking and general bad jokiness.
They made a point of visiting the tavern every time they came through Gaoling; Toph's name was legendary, and Sokka was regularly star struck when some of his favorite Rumblers came drinking through.
