Summary: In the midst of the 100 Year War, the two powerhouses of Water and Fire must unite if either is to survive. Pride and authority must be broken if they are to become one. Marriage is the savior, the Princess and the Warrior the key.
Author's Notes:
I have started my first Sokkula story. It's based loosly on Marie Antoinette's life story and Old Europe (about 1300-1800 AD), so yes, it is an AU story, but I think it's actually better that way. In it, there is a girl narrating the story (she lives in a modern Fire Nation) about a certain Fire Princess and a southern warrior uniting in an arranged marriage during the 100 Year War to save both the "Fire Islands" and the Water Tribes against their own wishes. As Miss Azula says so fondly in an upcoming chapter, “…Because no one ever said I had to actually like you. We are for the people and for the people only…” .
It's only the prélude (I've decided that all chapter titles shoud be in French, since that is a main theme), but I think you'll like it right away. So...
