Rock On
So on Monday, Sarah and I headed over to the Barrymore and caught Apocalyptica in concert.
I must say, I was giddy like a schoolgirl. The concert was amazing... it's just insane how good those cellists are. I wish the Audio guy would have turned the gain on the drums and unfiltered noise down some... it was kinda hard to hear some of the songs at times... but overall, it was incredible.
4 Encores. Wow. Before the 2nd to last one, Eica comes back and says "WHY WONT YOU LET US LEAVE! Ok, Shut up! We're going to play you classical music!" Then they broke into their remix of Hall of the Mountain King.
Not really much else to say. Though the soda was scary. We got this supposedly wild cherry pepsi, but it ended up being that + a minty vanilla aftertaste. ick.
