I thought you all would get a kick out of this, and I needed practice, and some time off from francais...
Hello = Ahoj
(Like in most of the million odd slavic tongues, 'j's are 'y's. Sometimes they are like the french 'y', but that is too confusing for me to even go into...)
So, you say it with a salior's mouth, and go, "Ah-oy!".
It is speculated that Czech saliors picked this up in WWI, in the English navy, and brought it back to Bohemia for the hell of it. :P
Oh, and you know the word 'knife'? Yet another cross between Tcheque and Anglais... This time brought by the Czechs.

(Yet again, a very commonly used phrase in Polish and many others as well...)
So, you pronounce it as one word, like this:
" NAhzzdravee"
And if you like to roll your tongue, you can improve on it as well. Put the roll at the top of your mouth, right behind your teeth, at the 'd'. Don't worry if you don't get it at first, Vaclav Havel has a thing with his speech, and he can't pronounce some of the difficult 'ssss' sounds, or rolls. If he can't say it, don't feel bad you can't. He pretty much defines awesomeness.
Beer = Pívo
(It is probably one word in czech that has it's own vocabulary... In short, it is pretty popular.)
Pronounced: "Pee-voh"
Fried Cheese = Smažený sýr
(I know... Yuck. Believe me, it is a dish. Of sorts.)
Even with all of those little markings, it is pretty easy to pronounce. Mainly because those are the nice markings, the special 'c's are annoying...
Anyways, pronounced: "Smah-zeni Seerr"
What is your rate? = Jaké máte ceny?
(Before you get any dirty thoughts in your mind... This is for hotel and lodging. Word of warning though: If you are trying to catch a cab/taxi, do not let your thumb hang to the side... Unless you like to solicate yourself of course :P)
Anways, this is another fun one to pronounce:
"Yakay mat-tah sennay"
