Puppets and Comics in Michigan!
Hey Avatar fans who live in (or near) Michigan! There is going to be a super-fun, and super-free Avatar fan panel at the KIDS READ COMICS convention!
Avatar: The Last Airbender Puppet Show!
Saturday, June 12th, 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
At the Henry Ford Centennial Library in Dearborn, Michigan.
Dave Roman and Kevin Coppa will entertain the audience with puppets from the fan-favorite Puppetbenders, showing examples of the work and production involved in the making of the web shorts. They will treat fans to never-before-seen Nick Magazine Avatar comics, a sneak peek at the upcoming prequel manga for the Last Airbender live-action film, and MC a live comics read-through involving audience participation. Free magazines to all who show up! Anyone who shows up in Avatar cosplay gets extra free swag, so dress to impress!
