That's certainly one way of looking like it. I suppose that the Avatar is something of a dictator by definition. Absolute power. Not elected by the populace. And so on.

it's a unique (and appealing) interpretation of the Avatar. it's almost like the Avatar is a neccessary evil. and she's so cut throat, too :)

Thanks. The Avatar isn't really good but not really evil either. Just the very grey area in between. Of course, Yangchen pretty much told Aang point blank that he needed to get with the program and kill Ozai. Only she said it in a nicer way.
